Buying a House in Texas

Selecting the right real estate agent

Buying a home in TexasPurchasing a home is one of the most important decisions of your life. It has a profound impact on your finances and lifestyle. Despite being an exciting experience in the long run, purchasing a home often involves more mental, emotional and financial effort than anticipated.

Whether you are a first-time homebuyer or have bought a house before, selecting the right real estate agent to represent you is the most critical step. By reading these words, you have already identified a real estate professional - myself, Keith Shenk. Please allow me to explain why you should choose me.

#1: My number ONE goal is to make the home-buying process simple and comfortable.

#2: My motto is "competence, fairness, and integrity." These words represent my reputation and who I am.

#3: When you hire me as your listing agent, I will work hard to protect and promote your interests. My loyalty and obligations to you are my primary goals.

#4: Even though as a home buyer you “hire me as your real estate agent” you will pay me nothing. Zero. Zilch. It is no secret that buyer’s agents are paid by sellers; in fact, buyer’s agents get a small percentage of the sale’s price. Still, my fiduciary duties are with you by law, heart, and ethics.

#5: Our relationship is win-win. My goal is to make you happy so you will proudly recommend me to your relatives, friends and acquaintances, etc.

Please do not hesitate to call me to start a conversation, so I can support you in the home-buying process.
